• Completed Carson Dunlop's Commercial Building Inspection Course 
• Started as a home inspector in 2012, almost a decade -  ran a small home improvement company for seven years prior
• About 16 years experience in residential construction and inspection with the two combined
• Previously presented at NOVA ASHI monthly meetings for educational purposes - both in person and online

• Siding installation (Stone Veneer, Brick Veneer, and Fiber Cement board)
• Sewer Scope inspections
• Pre-Drywall Inspections
• Electric panel inspections
• Training new inspectors

Ian runs a company with two office staff and five inspectors (used to be seven inspectors but a few have moved away) and has reviewed thousands of reports including hiw own and his other inspectors. Ian was one of the first home inspectors in the DC area to offer sewer scope inspections. He has inspected multiple residential properties that exceeded 20K square feet and a few commercial properties including large church buildings.
